Credit Cards

So I'm very proud to say..... that I have pretty much cut up all my credit cards today. I've been meaning to do it for awhile now. I guess I was just afraid of hurting the poor companies feelings. But now I know they don't have feelings and it felt pretty good getting rid of them, specially since I don't use them. It will look better on my credit score too for doing that. Which is pretty cool too! So I'm down to two and hopefully down to none by the end of this year. DEBT SUCKS and its kinda scary how fast you can fall if your not careful. So I'm happy to say I can check off one goal I've achieved this year!!! Now only 99 more to go......

What a way to start out the year!

What a way to start out the new year!!!
Well for the past couple of weeks I've been having pain in my jaw. I would wake up and have migraines in the morning, take something then go to work. Then the pain started to get worse and it hurt to chew. My left side would pop even if I opened my mouth slightly. The pain got so bad that I couldn't fall asleep and woke up my parents in the middle of the night. Asking them to either take me to the emergency room or give me medication that would dull the pain. My mom gave me something that really knocked me out. I woke up that morning groggy but decided it was time to find a doctor that could help. I didn't know where to start. I didn't know if I should go to a regular medical Doctor or a dentist. Thankfully I have a good friend Steven that called his mom (she's a dental assistant) and asked her professional opinion. She suggested to go see a dentist. So I called my dentist asked if there was any way to see him.... he said no. So I called Dr Buxton who said he could get me in right away. THANKFULLY! So I went to see him and he touched my jaw and made me open and shut a few times and could hear and feel the popping going on in my jaw.
He told me my jaw joint comes out completely out of its socket. He unfortunately couldn't do anything but refer me to a specialist that next day. He did give me a prescription to dull the pain. The next day I went to a Specialist and waited about 2 hours to see him. He asked me a lot of questions and decided that it was muscles around my jaw that was giving me pain. He suggested that I not eat anything but mush and not work for 1-2 weeks because he was putting me on muscle relaxers. I must say I do feel a lot better then I did. But I am on serious pain medication. What a way to start out the new year right?

A picture says a THOUSAND words!

Oh my..... how the last few months have flow by! Well I've really neglected updating my blog. It doesn't mean it hasn't been on my mind. I've taken a TON of pictures with my new phone, in hope to write a blog about them. But sadly there is just to much to do and so little time. So what I've decided is post all my pictures and write a little blurb about it. Enjoy!

Thanksgiving was a BLAST in Idaho. We always go to Idaho and spend Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family. We always have so much fun and are really loud and play games and laugh. I have some of my fondest memories with my extended family on Thanksgiving!
This is a picture my six year old cousin took of her yummy food. She was so proud of herself for taking the picture that I couldn't delete it. Doesn't that food look so YUMMY. My grandma makes the best Thanksgiving feast! NO LIE!
Its a family tradition to play gift swap on thanksgiving. Its so much fun.... I was the lucky one to get a pregnancy test! I didn't use it.... I gave it to my sister to try. lol
After Thanksgiving we came home and put up Christmas lights. It was so much fun and a lot of hard work. I'm so GLAD we did it. It looks so pretty!!! We also hooked up a music box to the lights so the lights would go off to the beat of the music. We loved it and I'm sure we drove our neighbor across the street insane. IT WAS SO WORTH IT!!!
I went to Logan to spend time with a guy I was dating at the time. What I didn't realise is I would have to wait 45 minutes in the canyon for a really bad car accident...
Please drive safe!
Well things didn't work out how I thought they would in Logan.... But I'm so glad that Sarah and Jeff were down there as well. They saved the trip from being a complete disaster! What would I do with out these two?
Doesn't Jeff look like LORD VOLDEMORT from Harry Potter!!!!!
Well....for those of you that didn't know one of my best friends Steven, decided to move to Florida. It was hard to see him go... but I totally understood his reasoning. I asked him to send me pictures of his SCARY hotel rooms that he slept in.... as you will soon see there was some really sketchy hotels! I think this one in Denver looks like the sketchiest one of them all. He paid $25 and I think he got what he paid for! lol
I think this one was in Oklahoma.... I would say this one looks a little bit better. He paid $40 for this one... but the TV was broken! Pretty good deal I think!
This is the nicest hotel he stayed in!!! I think it was a Marriott or Sheraton.... not really sure and I think he was in Louisiana. So close to Florida. I'm glad he stayed at a nice SAFE hotel!
This is a picture of Steven and his FAVORITE hotel..... coming home! Yep... He's HOME!
I felt like an elf this year for Christmas.... I was baking cookies for neighbors and family members. Those look yummy don't they!
My mom and I made a cute gift for the neighbors. We made over 50 of them. Its a thing of Cinnamon and a dish cloth and candy. We put "we hope this SEASON brought you joy" -love the Parkers. I'm pretty sure our neighbors loved it. It was a lot of hard work but SO worth it!
I made a TON of these mint candy tree things. I mean A TON!!! It was my craft idea for my mom's elderly facility Christmas craft. I think they liked it.
I made about 5 of these HUGE candy bar Christmas tree's. They take so much candy and time but I really hope the people I gave it too enjoys them!!
MY BIRTHDAY!!!! I can't believe I'm 23!!!!! This coming year I really feel is going to be a year of change! Boy am I ready for it! My birthday was AMAZING!!! I slept in.... went out with my mom. We had so much fun trying on clothes and going to the Cheese cake factory for lunch. SO GOOD!!! I think I've found my new favorite restaurant! It was so nice to just relax on my Birthday. I did go out with a group of friends that Saturday. It was so much fun and I am so thankful for GOOD FRIENDS!!!
That night I went out with my AMAZING friend Danielle and we had a blast watching this crazy 80's ROCK BAND!! It was so much fun jumping, touching, and singing along with the band!!!! Seriously that was the best time I've had in a long time!!
This is our beautiful Christmas tree that I helped my mom put up after my birthday. Sadly we have already taken it down! BOO!
This is my beautiful gingerbread house that I made..... my dad got it for me for my birthday. I was begging for one all season. I watched on the food channel a gingerbread house compation and it looked so easy that I HAD to do it! Well I found out its not that easy.... but it sure was fun!
My mom's work party had a hypnotist.... it was pretty funny to watch. But I don't think I believe in being hypnotised. Just seems really fake to me.
I was over at my best friends Sarah's house.... I went to church with them. Sarah told me that they were going to have Elder Perry speaking at their church. I couldn't resist so I went to church with them. It was pretty amazing. I didn't realise what a tall man he is... but what an amazing speaker. I don't think I took my eyes off of him the whole time. Jeff was teasing me and told me that Elder Perry was starring at me!
Well I was driving home.... and look what decided to cross the street!!! You got it DUCKS! Like twenty of them! It was crazy! They all decided to cross when I was trying to pass. Some of them even stopped and sat there. I seriously think I sat there for at least 10 minutes!!!
Here is a little more of them! I love Gods little creatures even thought they drive me crazy some times!
Christmas was amazing!!! Our power was out tell about ONE in the afternoon. So I hope you all had power!! I didn't realize how dependent we are on power tell it was gone. I'm so thankful for my family and that I got to spend so much time with them. We got rock band for Christmas from Santa and we had so much fun..... if you look at the picture I got 100% on MEDIUM and it was a freaking hard song.... and I'm the only one out of the family that got 100%!!! It felt very rewarding! ha ha ha ha Shameful I know! But still felt good!

Happy Birthday Sarah!!!!! I took this picture on Sunday. Sarah invited me to have dinner with her family for her birthday. It was very yummy and I still day dream about the chocolate cherry cake we had for dessert. We had fun playing games with her family! I love her family! I'm so LUCKY to have Sarah for my best friend..... she is such an amazing women, wife, and friend. I don't know what I would do with out her and I hope I never have to find out. We have so many memories together and I look forward to many more!!! I LOVE YOU SARAH!! Happy 23rd!

All I want for Christmas is........ YOU! BABY!

Well to be honest coming up with this list was very difficult for me. I'm one of those people that if they want something bad enough they'll just get it. I've had a couple of friends asking me to put together a list of things I would like for Christmas/birthday... just because it is so hard to buy things for me. But I just want to reaffirm....that I am very grateful for all of my friends and family and if I was to get a lump of coal this year I would still be happy. I know I've been naughty this year! lol JK

I am very blessed!!!!

A few idea's to get that brain pumping:

-North and South DVD

-A cute purse

-A good book (I love the classics)

-Twilight gear

-A shield for my phone

it can be used, old, new. I just need something that is semi nice for my room. I found a lot on KSL.

-I would love a copy of the guatamala pictures. This is very priceless too me and some how in the move I lost the cd of photos. I'm really heart sick and if KC or Sarah or if someone out there finds the cd thats all I want. Those pictures are so priceless to me.

Well there you go... that's my list. I would be happy with anything. I love you guys and I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas. I can't wait to give you your gifts! :)
